Information for International LL.M. Applicants
Applications by international students are very welcome! We offer a well-established four-semester program on German and European economic law with about 80 % law topics and about 20 % economic topics, starting each October. The majority of courses are in German, but there are also courses held in English. The two seminar papers and the final master thesis can be written in English (subject to conformation by the supervisor). There is no fee. For further information see here (in German). International applicants to our master program need to submit the following documents:
A cover letter/letter of motivation in which you should outline your motivation for applying to our master program.
A curriculum vitae
Documentation of the required knowledge of English (level B2) and German (DSH II or equivalent)
A German or English copy of your bachelor diploma
A transcript of records that shows at least 60 credit points in law classes
The completed application form of the International Office which can be downloaded here
APS certificate (for applicants from the PR of China, Mongolia and Vietnam)

For your application, please note: Only complete applications, which have been submitted within the application period will be accepted. You must complete all the fields on the application form truthfully and you must sign the original application. You must provide certified copies of all the certificates. If the original certificate or document is not issued in either German or English, you must also provide a certified translation of the document in German or English.
